my boys are ready for my wedding!

So my cousin got married on Aug 30th it was so great! I did all the hair and it went nice and smooth and then my oldest boy was the ring barrer! He did a great job! It is cute how my boys seem to get asked all the time to do that job must be cause they are so cute!. DJ was a ring barrer in June and all though is was a bit small he too did a great job. They are definetly getting good practice! My wedding is coming up in june and devin is giving me away and dj is the ring barrer. Now seeing how great they did and how cute they were all dressup up and I even more excited!

Happy monday to you! And how was your weekend? We sure did have a good hot one! On saturday we had our family tradition. Every year my dad buys everyone a ticket to ride for the fair for all of their birthday gifts. Then we meet at deny's for supper at 430 then off to the fair. We like to go in the evening cause it ends up cooling off and that just makes everyone more happy hee hee. We all had such a great time! DJ even got to go on a few rides. We rod for a bit then watched a show and petted some animals then watches the fire works. By that time it was 11pm and most had to go cause they had a hour drive home. So devin and dj went on one last ride and played a few games (waste of money) but they like it lol All in all we had a great day!!!!

Wordless Wednesday For July 16th

Ontario Trip

Wow it has been a while since I wrote anything and thats because I was in Ontario. What a great time! We took the boys to Marineland and did some rides and watched some shows. Then the next day we took them to NiagraFalls that was cool! we went behind the falls and got soaked. Wel then went to Ripleys believe it or not and got to see some cool things. David and Devin went on the falls big wheel boy oh boy was that faris wheel big! Then the next day we Baptised our neice (my God daughter now) and had a good visit with my soon to be family. Then the guys went back home and DJ and I stayed for another week. My sister in law to be had a son the same age as DJ so we just hung out and played. We took the boys to the zoo the one day and took then to day home a couple days in the week so we could have some shopping time!! We decided that next time I go out there we will do the same only keep out wallets at home hee hee. I was a bit nervous flying home alone with dj but boy did he do great! He was asleep by the time we hit the clouds thanks to some childrens gravol. and selpt for just over an hour. then he ate and watched tree house for a hour. then we read books and looked outside the window at the storms we were flying over. And back to treehouse lol he did real great! Well thats what I have been up to what about you??

Can't Believe he is 8!

Well Hard to believe it but my son turned 8 this week. It has been a fun 8 years watching him grow into the little man that he is. Devin decided to have a pitare theme for his birthday and he invited his class. In spite the rain and having 35 people in the house we ended up haveing a good day and Dev had a wonderful birthday! Happy Birthday Buddy!

Not ready for bed??

So we got DJ a big boy bed a few months ago and thigs were going really well! Now I dont know what happened but for the past month putting him to bed has been rough. He has his bottle walks to the bathroom where we do the teeth brushing then he walks to his room, crawls into bed, and says good night. Sounds great huh?? HA!! the moment the door shuts he is UP!!! playing, banging at the door, crying to get out. What happened to this so ready to go to bed boy? We keep putting him back putting him back, raise the voice, even got to the point of swatting him bum to let him know we were serious. Still he gets up. So I have started to ignore him. I know there is nothing in his room he could hurt himself on and well he will go to bed sooner or later....... Well a few times he had fallen asleep right infront of the door so trying to open it to put him to bed is always a challange but last night was great!. I snuck in and he must have been a tired boy cause he was on his way back to bed but half way into bed he fell asleep. He was so cute I guess he had been sleeping like this for a good hour or two. I picked him up and tucked him in but not before snapping some pic's lol
